This project developed a comprehensive urban disaster risk profile for Shanghai to guide disaster risk reduction (DRR) and resilience investment planning. It utilized data from the first National Disaster Risk Census (NDRC) of China.

- Index System Development: Guided the creation of an index system for hotspot identification, including exposure, vulnerability, criticality, and coping capacity indices.
